The Caldwell Reading Program consists of 21 lessons contained in five
levels. There are workbooks and story books (with word lists) for each
level.
Below are some links to pages with examples of these:
Stories:
The stories are written with words composed only of consonants and units
introduced through that lesson. A computer program is used to check for words
that have not yet been introduced, "illegal words." They are
then changed to "legal" words. Such a high level of consistency in the
materials results in an unusually high degree of success and much self-esteem in
the learners.

Book 4, Lesson 16:

Book 5, Lesson 20: Corky

Word Lists:
Word Lists consist of selected words that are also composed only of
consonants and units introduced through that lesson but are not used in the
story.
